The MD series is KES’s benchmark suppressor design for strength and performance. The MD series offers a rock solid and foolproof direct thread mounting system. All of our sound suppressors feature a proprietary monocore system that results in the best decibel reduction in its class. This also results in unparalleled reductions of first round pop, noise and flash in a compact package.
These features have been developed through working with our Police and Military users, making sure to incorporate the experience and expert opinions of those who depend on our suppressors to perform.
Suppressors are made from 100% steel alloy and are of closed and welded construction for superior strength and durability. Light build weight helps reduce operator encumbrances and reduction to point of impact shift. However, KES takes an end user focused approach, and will build to order the MD suppressor. This means lighter build materials such as titanium can be utilized, or a robust Inconel steel core.

High Performance Monocore system.
Class defining sound reduction for personal health and safety.
Dependable high-temperature stainless-steel construction ensures formidable dependability even with full-auto use
Quality building practices that result is strength and performance.
Minimal and repeatable point of impact shift.
Rock solid direct thread mounting system. A simple and effective solution to mount your suppressor.
Significant first round pop reduction .
Flash suppression. With our proprietary end cap design, we have virtually eliminated flash signature.
Reduced Back Pressure: Integrating Low Pressure (LP) features for best in class sound reduction, while still minimizing gas blowback.
Durable and heat resistant coatings can be applied in a variety of colours, depending on end users requirements.
Customized approach to operational needs. Suppressors will be made to order to incorporate material changes that are required. This could be a lighter build using titanium, or an incredibly robust core made from Inconel steel.
Non-ITAR technology. All KES suppressors are manufactured and serviced in Canada.
KES is proud to announce that our state of the art QD system is available for testing. We wanted to look at what was currently available on the market, and deliver something that first met, and then exceeded our end users requirements.
Our system is strong, reliable and easy to maintain.
We had a focus on addressing tolerance stack issues, and have incorporated elements into the design to make sure we have reliable and repeatable performance.

There has been an overwhelming push for a suppressor that can reduce gas blown back towards the operator. While other brands will make this claim, KES is setting a standard of research and test protocols to show actual reductions to these values.
This will be addressed by modifications to our current suppressor design, which will be found in the LP556. Instead of an open "flow" design, we have elected to pioneer what we are calling the Low Pressure Core System (LP for short). Our goal was to see if we could create a venturi vacuum effect, and draw as much gas forward from the operator. We have found this approach to be successful.
All of our sound suppressors feature a proprietary monocore system that results in the best decibel reduction in its class. While still fantastic as signature reduction, there is a light increase in noise. The volume of blowback gases that are reduced balances this out. This also results in unparalleled reductions of first round pop, noise and flash in a compact package.
